Typographic and Iconographic Design

Atum

Agency: Copeland

Client: Atum

Year: 2017

Role: Graphic Designer

I was part of a team of creatives that handled the brand strategy, naming, tagline, full visual identity system, PR launch campaign, and website for Atum, a genetic engineering company based in Silicon Valley."Atum", formerly DNA2.0, evokes the Egyptian god of creation.

In my capacity as a graphic designer, I created distinct components within the visual identity system. Depicted above is a collection of icons I designed, each thoughtfully crafted to visually represent the various stages of Atum's proprietary gene modification process, named "GPS."

I also designed a series of typographic characters based on the logotype.
